You were lost...?

Well it's been a while since we last posted so here goes with a few highlights...

Early in 2015 we took 28 students from the International School of Kenya on an expedition through Mt's Kiplombe & Londiani in the Rift Valley...

The Indigenous Trees on Mt Londiani are arguably the last truly untouched part of the Mau Forest. True Indiana Jones Country with trails needing machetes to get through...

Night time in the Pine plantations on the edge of Mt Kiplombe were magical, with students voting this trip their favorite out of 10 others!

Next up we ran our first School trip to Rapids Camp in Sagana with a high energy group of 9 year olds from Braeburn Gitanga Road School in Nairobi. Things got noisy...and a bit wet!

The children got their first taste of rafting on the Tana River.

The children also got their first experience of kayaking :-)

This year Infinity Outdoors participated in the Extreme Outdoors Expo in Nairobi along with Kembu Canpsite 7 Cottages. Check out this video of Capital FM presenter Wanjira Longauer going from zero to hero on the Tana as part of the event marketing. For a high quality link to this video click :

Wanjira was a legend and had a great day... hopefully another river rat in the making!

Our Corporate Team Building days are getting popular with several groups choosing to go tubing on the Tana...

We had our first International School client with a group of 17 students kayaking, rafting and tubing on the Tana. The guys came from the British School of the Netherlands and had a great, if a little chilly trip...

The middle of the year was holiday time and as well as sun and sand some surf was had also!

The highlight of the year on a personal level was to be invited to represent Fluid Kayaks from South Africa as a team paddler. Infinity Outdoors staff have been paddling in, selling and teaching Fluid kayaks now for nearly 8 years and couldn't be happier to represent team Fluid!

And to end the Year on a good note we will be co-organising the upcoming Tana River festival. 4 events over two days with cash and gear prizes up for grabs and a sweet after party in the pipeline. Check out the video below and for more info visit:

So sorry for the silence... watch this space for all the fun from Infinity Outdoors for the rest of the year

:-)
